I'm working for the Spokane city streets department. I work forty hours a week, in four ten hour days, Monday through Thursday. In two, two hour shifts, I sit in a car pressing buttons to count cars going through intersections. I have to watch two directions, and my partner watches the other two. I have both computers working and hooked up to the kvm switch. I'm a bit suprised by the way that my new computer runs. The heat coming out of it from the power supply is definitely warmer than I'm used to with other computers. The power supply is very warm to the touch. I guess the shear massivness of the heat sink should have tipped me off that ( Read more... )

I realized that I had a physics assignment to do for tommorrow. I also went to anime club, which is a major time killer. I am still setting up my new computer, but I installed the old etherenet card on my older computer, and I'm running a knoppix dvd on it right now. Apparently the way that the wwu tracks what computer goes with what person is by using the hardware mac address.
