Honestly, I'd written her off as dead years ago. I was shocked when a friend called me yesterday to say that they found Jaycee. This friend was best friends with Jaycee until the latter moved away. When I talked to my brother back in Cali a few weeks ago he told me that he went to the cemetery on mother's day to place some flowers. I am now back online after an unexpected week of no internet while we moved. Apologies to everyone I've unintentionally been ignoring.

For the record, WOW sucks for disconnecting us days before the date we told them, and Comcast sucks for installing their shit and taking till the next day to actually get it running properly.
