Yesterday we had to rush our 19 year old cat to the vet. She couldn't use her hind legs properly, especially the left one, and would stumble or fall over when she tried to walk. We too have been hit by a cold snap! Well, it can just snap out of it! I mean really, -15C (+5F) is just way too cold. Hard to believe it was 60F a week ago. The spring bulbs were even peeking their noses above-ground (which could mean they'll die off now and there's goes all the work I put in last fall). The cats aren't impressed either. Wednesday's appointment with the specialist was a bit of a mixed bag. The good news was that none of the six biopsies done showed any sign of cancer. The bad news was that none of the tests pointed to anything specific. They all came back clear. And yet, I continue to get abdominal pain, although not nearly as bad as it was a year ago. Tomorrow I go to see the specialist. I'm more than a bit worried. I've had a lot of tests done, and we'll talk about those, but my biggest fear is that he WONT be able to tell me what's wrong, what's causing the pain. It's happened so often before.
