i love how certain foods seem to absorb flavors out of the environment. white wine that tastes a little like honeysuckle because there's honeysuckle in the vineyards. mangoes that taste like coconut. i am eating a chocolate bar right now made from costa rica beans and it tastes like bananas. well, not like. none of these things actually taste ( Read more... )

went to the gay pride today here. i think that every young person in paris and from the suburbs was there. and plenty of older people, too. the parade itself was at least a half mile long and the entire time the streets were pretty packed with people. at least now i know that the club-kid persona still exists. my camera was out of batteries, ( Read more... )

spending a lot of money on dinner alone is kind of nice but ultimately not worth it, especially if the waitstaff doesn't respect people who eat alone. otherwise it can be kind of fun. but here apparently either i need to have a different attitude or dress better or something. the food was pretty awesome, though ( Read more... )

my comptuer is i think not compltely broken sorry no time to correct typos but anyway i need to reinstall the system but the hard drive is not broken which is awesome and i just need to reinstall so in a week i can talk to you all agizn.

things are at least somewhat better. still no computer or anything though.
