Short notice

TODAY, my house

3PM - 11PM

The pool is open. Food will be grilled. I talked to a few people this past week but everyone is invited.

The storm over the weekend somehow managed to break several telephone poles next to my house, leaving them without power until the end of this week. I guess it was shooting sparks and lit the trees on fire. A neighbor's dog ran outside and was electrocuted somehow.

And then locke said that we'll have to "move the island."

In 1997, an alleged liger -- a hybrid of a lion and tiger -- eluded police and their sophisticated tracking equipment that included an infrared heat-seeking camera. The animal was spotted in Sterling Heights and Warren, but was never captured.

Keeping up with livejournal tradition, I'd like to announce that Alisha's birthday will be celebrated Saturday, March 8.

She wants to do a dinner and then hit a few bars. Better yet, a pub with both. Does anyone have any suggestions?
