no job and job

So I was hanging out with my friend Colin two weeks ago and had a spontaneous thought about constructing a garden. I have a good amount of free time since I'm waiting for the county to realize what a brilliant addition I would make to their park ranger team and hire me (after I interviewed a month ago ( Read more... )

cub scout. I earned the semi-prestigeous Arrow of Light (highest a cub scout can get before "crossing over" into boy scouts) but decided I had left my mark and there was nothing more to prove so I refrained from the next level... that and I was getting into sports more and the time just wasn't there.

Thanks.

seriously, Scott's just got 'a calling.' he's a maniac. I guess a couple of the more veteran guys are giving him loads of shit since they applied for the job too and he got it over them. Weird position to be in, but he's earned it.

Thanks on the job, it's about time though, set into motion the first steps a year and a half ago, so it's good to finally see it all paid off. Oh and I specifically requested non-colin visiting hours so I would always have an excuse. Nah, the newbies always get the weekend shifts, but I'm off at 5, so it's not like I won't have time after work.

Remind me again about the show the week of and I might make it. where at Dipiazzas?

Yeah, remind me too. I might actually be able to make that since I have no plans yet.

That garden is pretty sweet. Congrats on the getting a job thing.

My roommate has this f'ing awesome mountain bike that he doesn't use at all and he said I could ride it whenever I want to. Patiently awaiting an invite to one of your rides.

from this point on most if not all rides will be taking place tues-thursday. I like to go early, but if that doesn't work for you maybe someday after you get off work and before it gets dark.

what kind of bike is it? just curious.

and thanks.

Jobs and promotions and gardens, oh my!

Congrats and wow to the first two- and as far as the garden, that sounds really exciting. But, I wonder, is that big enough to grow corn? You need at least two rows to cross-pollinate (I think... though I'm perfectly willing to be wrong). There's nothing like home-grown fruits & vegetables!

it's recommended to maximize results to do 2 rows so the pollen mixes easier though not absolutely necessary... I do have two rows though- so they can have their pollen orgy and I can reap the vegetables of their labor.

And thanks.
