Hunch: at Zeitgeist, there's a girl with a nosering and weird ear piercings telling how she snuck that in during her stint at Sun. It was right after her Lit Crit degree, right before getting a hipper job that pays better and is more secure.

Either that, or they let the sophomore intern copyedit the thing.

I wonder if it's the result of a last minute replacement string that overflowed the box. Sun's branding guidelines state that they must never say things like "We wrote this in Java". They have to say "We programmed this using the Java™ platform".
