That's excellent. I particularly like how you ended it - with Echo triumphant and the Dollhouse staff/clients breaking, and then with her eerie blankness again. And I thought your effects to make the footage look like effects on the show was seamlessly done.

I'm really glad you liked the ending! I was hoping to show her power through recontextualizing, but I wasn't trying to go AU or anything... just show my interpretation of (the most inspiring aspects of) canon. Thank you so much for checking it out.

VERY cool. I was swept away by the motion and the energy. On first watch, before reading your notes, I definitely think Echo did come off as a victor here, even if the margin seemed slim. I will have to rewatch with your notes in mind. Never seen Dollhouse, but that doesn't hamper my enjoyment of the visual feast and adrenaline kick!

I'm loving that you were able to enjoy it even on just a motion-and-energy level. Was hoping that I had layered it enough so that it was possible to do that. :)

The objective was to bring the viewer to a place where the "blank slate" at the end looked decidedly less blank and decidedly more confident/powerful. But even if you don't get there, it's nice to know you're able to enjoy the ride!

Definitely the best Dollhouse vid I've seen, you make the show look so much cooler than it actually is! ;) Your effects were completely seamless, and the vid's pace fit the fast pace of the song perfectly. Well done!!

Thank you so much! The show can definitely be uneven, but I was trying to highlight the things I like about it here. Really glad that came across.

:) It really means so much to me that you were able to connect with it on that level. I was afraid no one would. Thank you so much.

Here via obsessive24.

Wow, I really love this, and the song choice is great. The ending is particularly awesome, with everyone involved in the DH breaking down (employees, the client and even Ballard himself) and yet Echo, who's considered the "weakest" one of them all, is still strong.

I also like the sequence around 1:38 showing all the dolls in their sexual missions and then the shots of Sierra and Victor with the "something sweet to throw away" line. It's heartbreaking, and also shows how they're still deep down in there somewhere.

Thank you so much! I was working really hard to take the viewer to a specific place at the end, and it sounds like I got you there... and that you enjoyed the ride. I particularly love the way you phrased this:

Echo, who's considered the "weakest" one of them all, is still strong
That's *exactly* what I was shooting for.

You also nailed the contrast I was trying to show on "something sweet to throw away."

It really means a lot to see it come across so well to you. Thank you for telling me so.
