Whenever I have a muscle cramp or am in a certain amount of pain, I start laughing. Not just giggling, but laughing so hard that I start crying. I have no idea why this happens.

JFS is a great place to work; I got there at 8:45 and one of my bosses had set up a little introduction party for me, complete with fruit and Krispy Kremes. Hi all...so, I finally have a job. I officially accepted the program assistant at the Jewish Family Services building on Fairfax in West Hollywood. Yeah, so I found a black widow by the front door today. Way worse than crickets since they really can hurt us. This is not the first black widow we've found. This is probaby the fifth and that's not ok. I guess this is just one more reason to move in December.

Our lease is up in about four months and I cannot wait to get out of this apartment. Ev can barely stand to talk to our landlord (who, incidentally, doesn't seem to acknowledge that I exist even though my name is on the lease, too) and this area is totally isolated from all of my friends. Our apartment is infested with crickets. I know they aren't dangerous or anything, but eew. I don't like having to worry about stepping on a two inch cricket when I get up in the middle of the night.

Does anyone want our rats? Apparently, even though our neighbors have dogs, we aren't allowed to have our rats. I really don't want them to become food; they're so sweet and well-tempered...and they don't deserve to become snake food. Someone please take them.

Our kitchen sink has always had a brown discoloration on the bottom. It's been there since we moved in and I just assumed that the sink was stained.

It's not.

I startes scrubbing today and all the brown stuff came off. I don't even want to know what that was. Eeeeeew.
