Lack of updates!!!

I have been so busy and stressed with the move to PS, classes and teaching, but I am alive!

Its been a rough few weeks in my classes. I think things will get better... and if not I am in trouble! :)

Okay, so I am seriously considering buying an HDTV but I don't know a ton about all the different options. I heard that the 1080p ones are the best, but those might be too expensive. What about the difference between plasma/LCD/CRT? Are there certain brands to stay away from? Is there a new wave of TVs coming out soon that will cause a nice ( Read more... )

So day one is complete and all is well. I am only shadowing th eclasses for the first two days so its really not like I have control of the class yet. I can't believe how many of the students are failing. One class had ONE A no B's a couple C's and the rest D's and F's. This seem like the norm in all the classes. I start my new teaching job tomorrow. I am pretty excited but I am also a bit nervous. I wish we are more equal group, but the students have the upper hand on that being that they have been in schol for a while. I just finished the first season of 24, daaaaaaammn that is a good show.

I think I came as close as I ever have to getting a concussion yesterday. I hit my head harder than I ever have in my life. It still pounds a bit if I lean over or let blood rush up to it. I passed my CSET test, so now I officially meet subject matter standards for general science and earth/planetary science. I am soooo relieved that is over because it was the hardest thing I have to do to get my credential ( Read more... )
