First, I want to say I will get my pics from Maschinenfest up soon. I took about 900 pictures when I was in Europe, and have only found the time to go through them once. Granted, half of those were taken in Paris, but I still need to spend some time deciding which ones I like best.

I don't make music recommendations very often, but I feel compelled to at the moment.  I can't say enough good things about Beta Satan's "Girls."  Tim turned me onto the disc.  It's "wavepunk", so if you're  not into that kind of music, you'll probably be disappointed.  It reminds of what was good about the music scene around 94.  I feel the same ( Read more... )

A video I made for Synapscape is up on their various sites.  I also have it on my vimeo account and would post the link, but I have to run to a phone interview in a couple of minutes.

I have other crap to share, as I haven't posted in a while.  Ice Age 3 is winding down, so I should have more time and a life again.

...and nothing can be done to take away what happened last night.  This country is forever changed, and for the better.

I have a feeling that in the months ahead, people's underlying racism will be brought to the surface.  I don't know how many times I've heard a statement in the last couple of months prefaced with, "I'm not racist, but...."  ( Read more... )
