All this road construction going on around here is giving me all the more reason to go insane. Every single day, man... an important road just HAS to be reduced a lane or two, bringing traffic to a standstill. What's even worse is that there is NO ESCAPING IT! My big BCIS project presentation went well. I was worried I'd choke and make an ass of myself, but overall I felt I did pretty good. I was somewhat criticized, however, for "reading too much" - basically meaning I relied heavily on a transcript I had written for myself. I don't present very well at all without looking at something to read off of. ( Read more... )

For my Texas cultural assignment in my government class, I was required to bring in a food item that the culture I was assigned is known for making, and serve it to the class.
