Damn I have missed your writing!!! This was so very good Randall.

I feel such sadness for Teri, what did he have to bargain, that is a scary question, or I guess maybe the answer is the scary thing. He had the chip taken away but with it went all of Kim's good memories, his love for Teri, what a kind man he used to be. Now he is left with the visions of what he became and without any of the good images.

Domino is such a powerful force. I am not sure he will be erased for good, the thought of that being just as scary as all of the other thoughts roaming in my head right now.

So much sadness, so much fear, so much love also. The love that Teri has or had for Kim is deep. Will he actually be able to kill him if it comes to that? What would the outcome of that action do to him? Will Bob beat him to it? Oh Lord the questions!!! Did I tell you that I have missed your writing, because I have. What a great way to start the new year with you and Cael back in action. I love it!!!

Ran, I know everyone feels for Kim and I do too, but Kim scares me even more than Dom. He really is a rogue, an unknown quantity. His lack of feelings and understanding makes him even more dangerous than the hired killer Dom was.
You and Cael have certainly been tying a Gordian Knot with these chapters.

Oh my god. I like that you couldn't get comfortable here. Things would start feeling ok and then you stir it up again. Don't like Domino chuckling. Have you read any of John Connolly? His stuff does the same thing to me. Very nicely done.

He wrote Every Dead Thing and Dark hollow and a bunch more. These are his first two. There are more. I've read a few and liked them very much.I'm reading Dark Hallow right now. They are dark. He has a gay couple that are best friends of Charlie Parker. They are not what is expected. Give him a try if you get a chance.

I think I've been avoiding commenting on this one, Ran.

It ... I'm very scared of what deal Teri might have brokered.

I think about the things that the DS might want from Teri ... not least of which, of course, is Teri back.

But there are other things.

And I simply don't want to think about them. Or about what it would mean that Teri might make some of the deals I see as possibilities.

But I understand how deeply he feels responsible for what happened to Kim, and ... mmm.

As for Kim himself ... well, now, that's another interesting one, isn't it? Just what is Kim going to do with this new knowledge he has about himself, about his situation?

So many questions, and I don't like most of the possible answers.

What a way to start the new year of this never less than compelling story!

Happy New Year!

He touches my face, delicately, and brushes back my hair

Loved that. Poor Teri, who knows what Dunraven wants!!! And Kim, what if he sees Raine and lets Dom out. Actually, Kim may not need any help from Dom. He's shown us he may have forgotten a lot, but he hasnt forgotten how to handle himself

Hope your 2007 is much better health-wise.
Wishing all the very best to you and yours!
