cat mystery of the day
How do 8 month old kittens, with very sharp teeth and claws, know instinctively what to attack. In other words, you've been sitting still playing with the kitten with a string as an attempt to distract it from attacking your hands/arms/feet/legs/anything else it can reach. Better--hopefully
The fever finally broke this morning. It was day 5 of the fever, which had hung at ~102.5 (39.2) pretty much the entire time except for a few hours when I took fever meds. The highest it got was 103.2 (39.6), although I still think it might have been higher the first night when I was hallucinating ( Read more... ) -
Sick
I'm starting day 3 of what's been a ~102+ (ranging between 102 and 102.6... (39.0 & 39.2 C). I broke down and went to the doctor on day 2 because there have been typhoid outbreaks, including one of my housemates, which made me particularly nervous.* No typhoid (or malaria). Shimla & Rishikesh
I don't think I've mentioned that I'm in India for the break, but here I am. We have a week (plus 2 weekends) so it's not long, but a while. I got into Delhi Friday and left for Shimla Saturday on an overnight train.
