I keep putting off updating and, although I know exactly what I want to update about, I'm not quite sure how to describe it accurately or if I even want to admit that the day of pure awesome is over.

all i have to say is ... what she said! I love you Britt!! That was the best concert of my life. And woah jealous, your pictures are so much better than mine (the flash caught all the fans heads, so they all look good, and then oh hey, is that broken social scene in the background? lol .. i wish my camera would work properly without flash)!! Whenever the new pornographers, or the arcade fire, or stars, or bss again or any bands that us brain tumour twins love and adore come back around to Toronto ... we will be there! *love*

Aww, that was definitely the best concert of my life too. Hee, it didn't look like all of yours were like that! Too bad your camera is stupid and doesn't take proper non-flash pictures without freezing up. And to the last part: heck yes! We'll be there, without a doubt. <333 (Yeah, so what if I use the emo heart?)

Haha, Kevin Drew and Feist came to my school to talk and it was random? 'Cept then it turned out not to be because they graduated from there? Haha.

You go to Etobicoke School of the Arts, right? (I'm not a stalker, I swear. I just got curious and checked your user info.) That's cool! Anyway, Feist didn't go to ESA, but Kevin Drew, Amy Millan, and Emily Haines did. I read about Kevin and Feist's trip to ESA a few weeks back in the Toronto Star. It sounded really cute.

AH right, Emily was the one I was thinking of. But YES you're right. And hee, it was. Technically only the grades 11 and 12 were supposed to attend the assembly, but so many grade 10 fans snuck in it was funny. :)

I would have snuck in too. ;) If I'm being honest, I would have travelled to Toronto and snuck in to the school just so I could sneak into the assembly, had I known about it beforehand. It's probably good for everyone that I didn't, though.

Eeeeef! Now I really wish we'd gotten to meet so we could fangirl together and stuff. But still, I'm so glad you came and so very glad you had a good time. It's awesome that you're saying all the things I'm thinking about the show - you really can feel the music after you've seen how they do it up on stage, and it makes you appreciate it so much more. Sigh. Seriously, Britt, come to Ottawa next weekend! You won't regret it ( ... )

The music is just so much better live; it's hard to describe, but it's something you definitely have to experience. Eee! I want to go back and do it all again. It's kind of sad that it's all over. I wish I could go to O-town for it, but oh well.

They were - by far - the loudest set. And it was unreasonably loud! I mean, I didn't find them all that amazing either, but that might be because I don't have great appreciation for J Mascis since I'd never heard of him before.

Thank you! We wanted something to eat so we sort of had to sacrifice our spot or else we'd never find each other later. I wish we'd gotten more time to look around inside of having to spend an hour and a half in line.

The fifth one is definitely my favourite. Amy and Feist were insanely cute! I have a bunch of other pictures featuring the two of them. And awww! (Yeah, those pictures are so good! 4 and 12 are pretty nice too!)

I am really glad that you enjoyed the show! I am also on the fence regarding Raising the Fawn! COME TO MY CITY AND SEE THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS IN TWO WEEKS!

(Except for maybe Lobsinger because she just really annoyed me. She's so useless! She barely did anything in any of the songs and her hair was just obnoxious. Really, she's the only person who could possibly pull off having obnoxious hair.)
