House Ostia's just so much richer than your family. They could afford anything for me.

They may have more gold than my family, but not by that wide a margin. You see, I, too, come from a noble family of Lycia.

Hmmm . . .

Hmmmm . . .

Ah, yes, I do remember you. You were the man sitting in the corner during that high-class party!

But where does this leave you and I, fiancee?

Can you give me jewelry too?

Possibly, but do you want to be known as the type of girl who is 'bought' by material things?

You being referred to as "delicate" is about as accurate as most of the citizenry here being referred to as "refined." And no noble house could afford to give away buckets of valuables on a daily basis.

I'M VERY DELICATE. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, BYAKYAKYAKYA.

I told you to address me as Captain Kuchiki. And "delicate" is normally used to describe quiet, demure women, and neither adjective suits you.

I AM QUIET AND DEMURE.

I have no reason to exaggerate! He simply loved me that much!

Mmm... if you say so. But it still sounds unbelievable.
