I love the fact that R.E.M. (or at least their web developers) are clued up on Web 2.0. The video wall at last night's concert for a short time displayed a bunch of panels with the text '#remcardiff', and it turns out this is being treated as a machine tag when applied to content tagged with it on Flickr, Youtube and Twitter, so content tagged # ( Read more... )

And I feel like the fever's coming back. Great.

So, I'm missing a whole bunch of concerts this week. Tonight, Sigur Rós. Missed out on tickets. Tomorrow, Radiohead. Probably still be too unwell, and I apologise to growf for the short notice. Thursday, mojobob's band barkerhound (yes, lower-case). See previous. A real shame considering we haven't seen each other in some years.

Oh well.

Yeah, I always post when I'm ill. I really do need the relief, though. Time's running at about 1/3x its normal speed, and I don't actually feel good about it. Fucking tonsils. And their glands too.

So, we've had a mouse problem for a little while - in fact, it's a legacy of the previous tenants that we didn't discover 'til too late. For the most part, they've been well contained, and haven't caused much of a problem. But now, they've started rooting around in my bedroom in the middle of the night ( Read more... )
