Well, the doctor visited. She thinks it's most likely I've got some gastroenteritis, on top of general tenderness from the operation. I guess it makes sense.

I've had some mild food cravings too, so I'm trying some bready stuff with marmalade spread on...hopefully it won't make the return journey...

Well, I'm not going to hospital just yet. My doctor's trying to get some antibiotics to me, and we'll see how things go overnight. I'm kind of glad not to be going back, unless I could get onto a certain ward...the ward(s) I was in the first time were very busy, active wards, and not at all restful. I've got a terrible fever, and it seems I'm likely to end up in hospital. No conclusion as yet, I'm waiting for my GP to speak to as many people as possible about this.
