Bunny Comfort

Hello! I have a male/female bonded pair named Yuki and Hana. Hana is very timid and nervous so I figured when I need to take her somewhere, like the vet, I'd bring Yuki with her for comfort. I'm not sure if I should do the same for Yuki, though. On the one hand, it doesn't seem like he would need it as much and it would likely just stress Hana ( Read more... )

So a few days ago, I noticed a domestic black and white rabbit around my yard and a neighbors yard. Everytime I tried to call it, it would run under my neighbors porch. I left a cage with everything in it (ffood, water, and bedding) with a towel over it under some trees between our two yards so maybe it could use it as a home base. No such luck. il ( Read more... )

I had my bunny Snowy spayed on Wednesday, the 23rd. She stayed overnight at the vets and I brought her home Thursday. She did not want to eat or drink even with the Metacam. I syringe fed her water and she took a couple of bites of spinach that night but that was it. She perked up a lot the next day and was back to scarfing down pellets, pooping ( Read more... )

It occurred to me that with the rabbits who started with me as babies (the adopted two were a whole different story), always chose the same corner for their litter boxes; the back left. Maybe that has something to do with type of cage used? I always chose large dog kennel styles for my rabbits, which maybe that's frowned upon but it always worked ( Read more... )

My bunny's ear looks split

I have three rabbits total. Penny, Dr. Pepper and Snowy. Snowy and Penny are mini-lops and Dr. P is a Netherland Dwarf. Penny does not like Snowy, so I have Penny and Dr. P is one pen (they're bonded), and Snowy has her own pen.

I let Snowy out for free time and I noticed her left ear looked different all of a sudden.
