I don't work today....which is different because I normally only have weekends off. This semester I have been thriving on weekends...the time when I can finally take a breath from the constant flow of homework and banquets. EXCEPT I had to work last weekend, and friday was a 13 hour work day. no bueno. I have like 6 weeks left to finish my 50page thesis...and I'm on page 7. At 12:10 this afternoon, I officially handed in the final drafts of my Global Learning Term papers.

Last week I officially began my final semester of college....and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my most difficult semester as well. I only have one of my three Global Term papers left to complete from the summer, which is a great start and I'm pretty sure that I'm ahead of other Global Studies kids that are working on their papers also. It seems like death is a common theme lately, particularly these past months that I've been in Altadena. It really makes you wonder....what is the purpose of death other than to complete the life cycle? I feel like my internship position is constantly evolving.  I have gone from being responsible of assisting the youth with registering for classes, balancing check books, resume writing, fundraising, etc......to just hanging out with them when they're bored and giving them constructive ideas for daily activities. On Thursday night, Josh and I drove down to San Diego for the weekend. The original plan was to go just  for Garett's wedding, but as it turned out....my family was going to be in the area at the same time! It worked out pretty nice actually....stayed with Josh's cousin Greg and spent some random time with my crazy family, and went to the wedding.
