Baby Update
So I went to the specialist yesterday. The babies are happy, healthy, and growing strong! :) The perinatologist is feeling confident and good about this pregnancy. He was all smiles, laughes, and jokes. Quick Update
Very busy these days. Strange that I have more to do now than when I had a full time job.
Great holiday weekend. Had fun people out for the 4th, which was awesome. Had some fireworks, had some children, had some grilling, had some fun. It was fabulous. Unfortunately, I pushed myself WAY too hard on the 4th in an attempt to have the same fun as ( Read more... ) -
Things they DON'T tell you
There's a lot about pregnancy they don't tell you. One is that a second pregnancy ISN'T easier because you've done it before. It is, in fact, totally different.
They also don't tell you that abdominal scars HURT when you carry baby weight behind them. Any amount. Some warning would have been nice. Instead, I get to wake up to it, thinking my stomach ( Read more... ) -
I should crawl back under my rock.....
So I went back to the doc on Tuesday. After a 3 hour appointment (and yes, about half of that was consulting with the OB and a quarter was with the sonographer), we have discovered that the heart beats BOTH look good! This makes me MAD
So the new Sunny Side of Truth ads have pissed me off. They feature premature babies as cartoons. It is truly a disgusting ad. While I support the IDEA of their campaign, I am campaigning AGAINST this particular commerical. While it gets an emotional response, I think it goes TOO far. I go today back to the doctor. At 3pm. I'm so scared. I know there's nothing I can do about it, but I'm still scared as hell. Skillful avoidance
