I think most of it is pretty attainable. We'll see!
I see that you have a donation to Locks of Love on your list. I recommend you do a little research into that program before you decide to donate your hair to them.
They do provide wigs to bald children, but not for free. They charge families on a sliding scale. They also sell a lot of the hair donated to cover overhead costs. You cannot be guaranteed that the hair you give them will go to a needy child.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a similar charity and a little more transparent in their process. If I were to donate I would probably choose them.
I personally cut off 35 inches of my hair in October of this year and sold the resulting ponytail for $2600. As another option, you could sell your hair and donate the cash to the charity of your choice.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for this info. I want to donate my hair, but I really haven't done a whole lot of research. I just know it's something that I've always wanted to do. I will definitely look into other places and do some research!!! Thanks again!!!
