So far today, Chris is running late, my grandfather (who wanted to help) is running late, I've singlehandedly ripped out and hauled away the carpet and pad, and I'm slowly removing the carpet strips that the previous owner nailed and glued onto the concrete pad.

Fun!

On the plus side, the wood floor will be much nicer when it's actually done.

Between the BBQ and the Pizza Grand Prix, I cooked pretty much non-stop from 5am - 5pm.

Good thing the BBQ was awesome, and that I won 2nd place in the Pizza Grand Prix. :)

Thanks to everyone who came over, it was a great time today!

I keep doing fine, until I don't. When it's been just me and the cats, I teared up a bit while petting Rikku or Mr. B, but generally I'm OK. When people have been calling or stopping by to check in on me, it helps, but I find myself having a lot more trouble talking without getting choked up or weepy.
