Went to see the White Stripes recorded gig this evening. Quite enjoyed it, apart from the sore head, eyes, neck, chest, stomach, back and mild hyperventilating I had. Feeling absolutely shit. Have been out once, for about an hour tops, in the last 4 days. That works out about 1% of the time. Have no desire to go out, only go when I need to buy food, pay bills or go to library. Have a ticket for a movie tomorrow night, The White Stripes live. That should at least drag me out. Have stopped going out much, maybe about 2 0r 3 days a week. Going to bed about 9am and getting up about 4.30pm. Back to not seeing any daylight. Not even listening to music much. My tattooist has hurt his arm badly and will be out of action till next year. Puts paid to my desire to get to Cyprus next month.

Re John Peel. The night before he died, I was watching a documentary about Viv Stanshall, of The Bonzo Dog Doodah Band. Peel was talking about his untimely death, dropped fag in bed, asphyxiation. Sitting here at 6.17am, toothache which is running a very close 2nd to the mother of all toothaches I had in Cyprus with the infected, impacted wisdom tooth. This is very similar, seems to centre around a tooth with a large filling, spreading forward from the back to the entire top right row of teeth.
