As if on cue, Sasori emerged from the kitchen area just then, a tray on either hand. Each balanced a pair of cups [or two] and miniature plates of 'festive' cookies. With a cocky grin, he held out one of the trays; he'd caught sight of the other's clothes, and it was obvious by his body language he wasn't comfortable in the attire.
"This one goes to Table 6; those brats are starting to get on my nerves." he scoffed, nodding towards the giggling mass of school-girls. His words gained a whole new meaning when one of the 'blondes' guffawed in a deep masculine tone, and the redhead's eye twitched in irritation.
"It was either him or me. And I don't do Versace and 'totally cute'". That brief explanation seemed to be everything he was willing to share at the moment, before he turned on his heel and dove into the kitchen. Presumably to fetch another order-tray [although he did mumble something incoherent about 2012 and 1 more year under his breath as he went along.

However, it didn't last long when she noted the look on his face at the sight of Jashin, who had been damned and determined to be in the way all morning long, already having caused her to trip a few times. She had seen the doll in his mouth and hadn't really thought much of it - why bother? There was no telling where the cat found it and she really wouldn't put past him having eaten the child that the doll belonged to.
"He's been like that all morning." she murmured after a moment. "I really have no idea who that doll belongs to although there was a child in here screaming while pointing to it. I handed over one of Deidara's plushies to spare me and Sasori from going insane ( ... )

He'd been leaning against the counter, a droopy smile on his face, when Itachi came in. He heard some talking, but he was in a nice haze at the moment, like how the air looked, dusty and grainy after a really nice explosion. But then...
He spun around and grabbed Konan by the collar.
"What did you do to my plushie!? WHICH ONE?!"

Might be a good idea to return that to Kisame before she hurt a coworker.
"Unless of course you'd like to wrestle that doll away from Jashin. By all means, go for it."

It was cold outside, so naturally people would want to step in and grab something hot to drink and eat. The door opening and closing, however, also brought in the windy chill from the outside, which was something that the cashier could not ignore for very long.
Green eyes flicked up to the door to watch Itachi enter as he rubbed his hands for warmth, elbows resting on the counter. Even the sweater he had decided to wear over his work shirt wasn't cutting it. And as such, he could easily blame Itachi's entrance for his worsening mood (not that his mood was ever in a spectacular state.)
Looking at the clock, a small sneer curled the corner of his mouth upwards. Itachi was late. He immediately made a note of it on a clipboard to his left. The ( ... )

"I'd really appreciate it if customers could start tipping me in bills and not coins." he hissed, partially to the cashier, but mostly to himself as he pushed the little tray of bills and checks across the counter. However ...

All thought of Sasori's opinions and presumptions disappeared with the sound of money accompanying the redhead's steps. Money. The sounds of coins jostling against each other had to the best sound in the world. For a moment he just stared, eyes glazed over as he just listened to the money that was not in his own pocket goddammit but as soon as Sasori placed his checks and bills on the table, the cashier came to with a start.
Default scowl back on his face, he grabbed the checks and bills and began to type out the totals on his precious register, the line of his shoulders softening as the drawer came open with a small chime. He merely grunted at Sasori's complaints (everyone complained; he found it easier to just nod and pretend he cared about it ( ... )
