I ALWAYS have people email me after the auction with higher prices. I sometimes feel like it's eBay checking up on sellers. Scam artists, the lot of them!

Like you said, if you were willing to pay $50, why not BID $50?!

yeah indeed. As soon as she said it, I also had the thought that it was Ebay checking up. And well, since he actually bid, I guess it wasn't, but at the same time I've heard that they do such things to keep people from selling off-site.

Sorry about the laundry. I have a tendancy to dry ink pens in the dryer so come out with a ink-y mess. At least it was random things and not dress shirts/slacks, etc.

I love the ebay story btw. I love how grown adults can be so pitiful to get what they want. He probably doesn't even have a daughter. LOSER.

ah yeah I had a load of whites do a run-in with a pen in the dryer once... wasn't pretty. And of course it was every single work shirt I owned (I was waiting tables at the time, and "unflattering men's oxford shirt" was part of the uniform.)

Seriously, I reckon ebayman was lying. His bid was not the bid of a man who's promised his kid anything, in my opinion. It was someone who wanted to get them himself and maybe re-sell, I don't know. I don't care. Got em now!

I still use my garage-sale-find John Lennon high chair for Gigi! It's at my mom's house, and without the tray, it's just your basic chair that Gigi can climb into herself when she demands sustenance.

Anyway, I guess I've only seen the US version, but it's so cute (and not too cloying).

It's a really cute design, isn't it? The basis of it is the same for both the US and UK versions (the drawings of the animals) but here they use really large copies of them, whereas the US ones I've seen have all had a print made of tiny versions of the animals.

Uk version versus US version of the cot bumper. The cot bumper I have has three large animals on it, versus the print of animals with the yellow background. I've seen some of the large animal versions on the US site, but none of the little-yellow-print version over here in the UK

I'd love more stuff in the pattern, but it's tough to get, so I am probably going to settle for just decorating the crib in this style. :D
