Was in Rhode Island last week with friends. 
Let's just say that (despite me not really being a bar person) Providence has some great nightlife ;-)
But I'm really glad to be back to my solitude in the woods....

One set of company, away for a couple days, then more company ~~ and lots of rain, with the resulting problems ('Net outages and {dirt} road issues the prime offenders.....).

Catching up soon, when I've caught my breath ~~ and finished all the laundry generated by multiple sets of overnight guests :-)

Humiliation and degradation can be very similar.... for me, humiliation is good ~~ puts me in a good place mentally, or contributes to me getting to a larger goal. Degradation, on the other hand, puts me in a bad place, and doesn't help with any larger goals (and may well hinder goals, because of the bad places it takes me).

At the family summer place. Beautiful but isolated... and dial-up cranky this year :-( Have had lots of great ideas for posts but rarely able to connect....argh.
