I dreamt about my great-grandmother last night, which is odd because she died shortly after I was born, so I never knew her. But to be fair, I never saw her in the dream, she was just talked about a lot. Apparently there's been a brief change in plans. We're apparently going to be leaving Saturday now, for reasons I'm not quite clear on. Just a heads-up. -
What might have been
I was working on Retribution (yes, no sketching...I can't turn out anything I'm pleased with :/), and was around eight pages in. I'd just started a new scene when my cousins came over, both are under ten. The older, who is around six, decided to help me write.

Surgery
My grandmother's in surgery now. :\ Surgery started at eleven, so around an hour ago. I'm optimistic that everything will turn out fine (as fine as everything can be in this situation), but I'nm still worried. I have no idea when Mom will call, my (other) grandma (who I'm staying with) thinks that it won't be till around five this evening ( Read more... ) -

Experimenting with hair and feelings
Wow, I don't know what's wrong with me. I seem to keep having a lot of (small) headaches recently. Usually it's just a feeling on one side of the head, sometimes when I wake up. They're not horrible but they're not pleasant either. I don't usually take ibuprofen for them, because sometimes they go away on their own, but this recent one spurned me ( Read more... ) -

Goddamn it, the boss did call back; 10:45 last night. >_< Trip's still on.
EDIT: Okay, now we're not going. Don't want to get into it here, but we're not going.
...and apparently my father stepped on a toothpick. Why there were three toothpicks on the (carpeted) bedroom floor is beyond me, but they were there. That's weird.
