Elemental Fighters what?
It's strange -- really, really strange. Out of literally nowhere I was suddenly bitten with an urge to do a bit of art for Elemental Fighters of all things. Thanksgiving

An American Haunting
I just finished watching An American Haunting. Talk about a confusing movie! All the jumps between things; you were never very sure about what was real and what wasn't.

In case any of you might have been wondering what came of that interview, I apparently didn't get the job. -_- On Thursday they said they would either call that day or the next (Friday) if they decided to hire me. Well, now it's a quarter past ten, fifteen minutes after the store closes, and I haven't receieved any calls ( Read more... ) -
Job Update, part whatever
The second interview went all right. Basically the same format as before, but with less "what would you do in this situation" questions and more "tell us your strengths, name one of your accomplisments"...that sort of thing. It wasn't held in the same place as last time (it was in a room down the Employees Only corridor, and I felt kind of stupid ( Read more... ) -

I got a call around an hour ago -- they want me to come in for a second interview; 10:40 am on Thursday. They said they were looking at having me as a cashier. It's not something I really want (I would have preferred electronics, which is what they appeared to be originally going for) but beggars can't be choosers. Talk Like A Pirate Day
It's kind of funny that this should happen today, since last night's episode of Wife Swap involved the Bauer family, of whom apparently invented the whole Talk Like A Pirate day. A mild disappointment
Since I'm sure you want to know how the interview turned out, it was around fifteen minutes long and it was only a preliminary interview. >_< The woman who was interviewing me (who I suspect works in the Customer Service department) said she has interviews up til Monday or Tuesday, and then she'll apparently pass the information on to the head of ( Read more... ) -
