Thank you, petzi - although the bunny is being a pain...

It's also not at all what I want to write (and quite probably not at all what anyone will want to read), feels for you, cf wip, well, not literally, but I knew 'no-one' would want to read it, but I did enjoy writing most of it, once I'd given in to the inevitability!

It's not easy, but at the end of the day the muse will out, and I've always said I write because I need to (although the feedback is wonderful crack, and it does feel good to please the readers).

Are you on half-term this week? If so - hope you're having a good break. Mine have gone back (YAY!!!!!), so if not - commiserations :)

Yes, I struggle at times with 'I write for me', because positive comments or concrit for that matter are so nice, but ultimately I write what I want. I think I do sometimes compromise, next fic, I'm building in cliff hangers, where I wouldn't bother, but that my fandom seems to love them...

Half term:D, which would be better if hadn't got some stupid stomach thing on Monday:( Getting better, though.

I know, we've discussed this before, our different takes on half term. I should be doing all sorts of housework, ah well. Being sick does = excuse to write:)

Oh, poor you! Still - make the most of it and snaffle any excuse you can for leaving the stupid stuff (i.e. housework) and concentrating on the stuff that will help you feel better (i.e. writing/lounging/relaxing). That's what holidays are for!

Of course we'd want to read whatever you write... apart of course from PowerPoint overviews! *g*

I'm supposed to be being strong too I have a pile of work looking at me, but hubby is home and has just offered to take me out to lunch *weakens*

Have a good day too!

Hmm. I should post the PowerPoints. It's fascinating stuff. Sadly - not.

Work, schmerk. Go for lunch! Shoo! It's a lovely day out there. I'll just sit here at my 'puter with my lonely sandwich and plough on with these indecipherable papers...

Actually... now you're here, I've been wanting to ask an artistic-type favour for ages, but I don't want to put on you when you're busy. IF you ever have some time (I know - as if...), would there be any possibility I could beg for a wee header-type favour? I have an idea, but no talent, and no idea if it's possible anyway. Absolutely no hurry - as I said, it's been on my mind for ages.

Enjoy your lunch!

I'll just sit here at my 'puter

I'll be thinking of you... ;)

Header thingy sounds like fun (I need fun), so email me with what you want and I'll make you something. There's always time for playing with pretty pictures *g*

Congratulations on the nomination and the return of the Muse. Do Not Go Gentle is one of your ficlets that would be most welcome at gen_storyteller, and dare I hope that the plot bunny you fear won't be popular is too?

Hee! Neat icon!

Thanks! I will put it up at gen_storyteller, then, if you think that's OK.

I don't know about the current rabid bunny. It's mainly OC, and our boy, although naturally pivotal (when isn't he?) doesn't say much...

*is doubtful*

We'll see. This may just be one of those fics that don't get beyond the initial enthusiasm, or one of those written for the hell of it rather than popularity. Maybe I should stick to teh Spuffy.
