[guess who has caught her own shark and is waving it about]

Perhaps Marcy would enjoy a pet.

So what are you if you're not human?

I am Illyria the merciless, God-King of the Primordium. Books call me one of the Old Ones.

You're a god, but not from this time?

[Ooo--books, but that can be looked up later]

I reigned millenia ago before humans inherited the earth.

Earth as in this planet . . . I suppose it was very different back then. I'm not from earth.

Which place do you come from?

The Discworld. It's a flat world that sounds like something out of obscure earth legends.

I have not visited there.

I have walked through many dimensions. Is it like the world without shrimp?

No, we have shrimp. It's the world that's flat and sits on the back of four elephants standing on a world turtle.

I would like to visit this Discworld.

There are gods there too--the major ones keep to themselves these days but there are others around most of the time.

Is it very violent?

runstowardsfire August 3 2011, 09:05:52 UTC
I don't think so . . . A lot of major wars have ended and the gods aren't fighting each other so much anymore like in the old days.
