Insomnia. New haircut. The Epoxies. Xerox art. Mix tapes. Band practice. Dada: Art and Anti-Art. Cold feet. People talk too much and say nothing at all. Tip toe through the sleeping house.
Neat. I had just been reading up on some stuff about people who have that very same desire. I personally don't want any of my limbs removed... but I think I get it. We all want our appearance to match the landscape inside us, to reflect what we think and feel we really are. Ultimately, it is not a lot different than breast implants or piercings.
I use a lot of body part images and doll parts in my art but actual PARTS kinda squick me out (is that the correct use of the term?) Soooo... I'll just say that your new haricut is REALLY cute!!!!!
Yes! I've seen your stamps and drooled over them. I never have the cash to buy any, it is so sad. I wasn't feeling so sure about my hair... so Thank You!
I love the Epoxies. I wish they hadn't left Seattle.
The idea of prostheses is something I find fascinating. A close friend is an industrial designer, and he's obsessed with designing prosthesis so they're actually better than the original limbs. I think they have prosthetic legs now that can make humans run faster and jump longer than regular legs can. After all, one of my friends told me the other day that we haven't fully finished evolving as a biped species (that's why humans have so many back, leg, ankle problems). Maybe by the time your son is our age, bionic arms that can act as like, every tool you've ever wanted, plus make you kick ass at thumbwrestling, will be all over the place.
