as i just secured tickets to see Tool this august in edmonton and then again the next day in calgary, my quality of life has increased

a new song early in the workaroos. there is a second section that ties on in the end with piano and a growly bass playing in 7/4, but it's not included.

son of a bitch. i went to throw onions in my compost today and saw that my shed door was ripped off its hinges, i assumed initially by poor construction. a closer look revealed that my bike is gone and the door was clearly ripped by a human or semblence thereof.  i feel violated and unfortunately will have to do up some sort of vigilante security ( Read more... )

I've finished about half of the book of the law.  Willing to risk "being shunned like a centre of pestilence", my opinion thus far is that the book paints a drastically different portrait of what I'd thought to have been 'Love'. It seems belittling and elitist. I don't feel uncomfortable reading it, but it truthfully makes me slightly uncomfortable ( Read more... )

I laid down in bed last night within 15 minutes of getting off work at 11pm. The last time I looked at my clock was 12:11. From that point, I and my blankets were under some sort of siege.
