I just had a scary walk with my dogs. A stray pitbull with a ratty-assed collar (no tags) came up outta nowhere 'n wanted to check my dogs out. The dog seems happy enough. Still no animal control people. Ugh! I gave it food 'n water and it was friendly as any dog you'd hope for. I guess it just was really REALLY horny and has the power of a pitbull. not a good combo

Looks better, but still stung quite a bit when I sprayed th' antibacterial stuff on it. Threw some neosproin-type stuff on it and a bandaid (almost coveres it all ^_^). I'm sure I'll be fine. The animal control lady said after 10 days they'll know if it had rabis and they'll let me know. She said that she thinks I'm in the clear, though. They haven't had a case in a very very long time.

Glad that you made it home safely... If anything like that happens again, just remember that a round of .22 ammo is *cheaper* than a phone call, and a *LOT* more effective! :)

Funny you should mention that... a friend of mine told me gun laws are pretty good here in AZ and it got me thinkin' of goin' through all th' stuff to get a permit. I was thinkin' that before today. Now I'm thinkin' of it a lot.

I gotta say... aside from the rampant horniness, the dog's actually pretty nice. I feel bad for it. If it's owners would've been better owners and neutered it, it might've been a model dog.

Hehehh Well I try. I'm sure it didn't look real butch. Except for th' yellin' part. That was probably butch.

I just did what I felt I had to. Honestly, if it was interested in attacking rather than what it was interested in, I'm pretty sure I'd have had two dead dogs and a mauled owner. *shudders*
