I guess the only cure for being addicted to live journal is not having internet. Usually my posts take me too long to write at my parents, but I figured that I should let the (livejournal) world know that I am still alive and prospering. Its funny how a song can take you back to a certain time or make you remember a certain person. Its almost a form of time travel. I can shut my eyes and remember more about certain people of events while these songs are playing. Sometimes there are multiple songs for the same person, just different memories ( Read more... )

The party was a hit. The weekend for some strange reason felt pretty hollow. I can't really explain it. I could not really find anything that was fun. I had an ok weekend, don't get me wrong, but it didn't live up to the expectations that I had created during a week at work. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, cards, and calls. It has meant a lot to my dad. It looks like he is going to be fine. He's just restless from not being able to go anywhere and having some mandated R+R. What a day. Yesterday, Matt and I were going to go up and see my Aunt Dar in the hospital. She is recovering from a major surgery. I was almost done with work when I got a call from my mom.
