This is how Saturday went: Woke up and realized that Mina was still favoring her leg after 4.5 days and decided that yes indeed we should go to the vets and that no this is probabaly not just a bruised muscle that will go away. Here's our new kitty! She is a super tiny 10wk old tiger-bobcat mix. We adopted her yesterday at Animal Friends. They said she was from a cat collector who's building burned down and many of her cats and kittens were killed. Our kitty survived bc her mom covered her litter with her body to protect them. on my way into York tonight (like 10 minutes ago) i was driving and saw a strange grey fast-moving thing spinning in circles in the middle of the opposing lane. i thought for a second it was a newspaper swirling in the wind, but as i passed i saw it was a cat that had obviously been hit by a car. it was still alive and in obvious tremendous pain ( Read more... )
