Recently I joined an agnostic/atheist group, and every once in a while we get thumpers. One tried to pose the question, "Prove to me that God does not exist."

That's ridiculous, you cannot prove a negative. That's like me asking, "prove to me how many shits you didn't take yesterday." It's not possible. Stupid christians.

that's different. I can prove that easily, but proving god does not exist is impossible.

oh yeah they will, christians don't get confused or awestruck...they are always sure of their religion.

As much disdain as you have for Christians, I often find myself wondering why I even talk to you sometimes. Or why you even talk to me. I'm Mormon, for one. And you're always making posts about how much you hate Mormons, which is offensive to me. The whole situation makes no sense, so please if you will, enlighten me.

well sometimes I go overboard in my anger, but deep down I don't really "hate" christians or mormons. I disagree with religions, but that dosn't mean I won't be friends with a person who is religious. Life is more than what religion a person is. I am sorry I offend you with my opinions.

also, I have had many friends who are religious, infact, my best friend of many years was a mormon. the reason we are no longer friends has nothing to do with religion, either.
