Work was... well, work. It wasn't much fun, but I don't think it's really supposed to be fun...

A few years ago, one of my neighbors released half a dozen or so goldfish into the pond in our backyard, in hopes that they would eat some of the mosquito larvae and make our yard a little less unpleasant. Interesting site someone just sent me a link to: Zillow.com, which is a house-value estimator. Rather than guessing based on assessed value (which generally bears very little resemblance to market value), they look at other prices in the area, and have some set of calculations that lets them guess based on..... something else ( Read more... )
