A combination of watching Capote and speaking with both my lovely friend Becky and my father led me to pick up a copy of IN COLD BLOOD. Since I rarely read anything but manuscripts, books for my monthly book club, and the occassional (alright, weekly) Ok! magazine, it's a rare thing that I'm able to read a book purely for pleasure. I'm worried that people just don't read anymore. Has anyone read any amazing books lately? Or are you currently writing an amazing book, because that's great, too! Well...I hope someone out there is reading/writing or soon I'll be out of a job!

So I watched a few episodes from the newly released final season on dvd this weekend. All I have to say is, Oliver Hudson is one of the hottest actors that show was ever blessed with. Can Eddie have a spin-off, please?

On Tuesday night, I went to see one of our authors, Robert Hill, read from his first novel, When All Is Said and Done. Hearing him read reminded me how much I absolutely love this book.
