I'm not leaving either

I know some people are leaving LJ for Facebook and Twitter but now with the awesome ability to cross post, made so easy an e-clueless person like me can do it, why not do it all?

I'm staying!!

Anybody else deciding to stay too?

FB has its uses, it's where old schoolmates and family are, and a good place to post trivial things (links, videos, LOLs) that catch my eye.

As a consequence, LiveJournal is now more of a "Journal" where I want to write more thought-out stuff (not that I've done a whole lot of that lately, still I *want* to). Such rants and reflections will go here first, and might get posted as link or "note" on FB. And I like making the polls.

Twitter is very "of the moment" and most of my online time hasn't worked out where it's practical. So I have an account but only use it occasionally.

So yes, I'm "staying." After all, I'm paying for this site, and all things considered, I'm getting a lot of good out of it.

I cross post like a mutha. No reason to leave LJ, and facebook is just another way to let people know my LJ is here! It's all good.

Kinda silly that so many people are jumping ship.

I use FB and Twitter, and post more frequently to them I suspect, but I post more substantially to LJ. I'm not leaving LJ though.

I did the "MySpaceBook" when it came out because a number of Chuck's friends were on it but found it about as substantive as notes passed by primary schoolgirls during class. I'll still with LJ and DW(the lightweight knockoff of LJ). At least there are folks there who aren't simply parroting...
Cheers,
Pat
