Good Holidays
I ran into karmabuena and susangalique at the gym today (no, not literally). We chatted for a little while in the sauna. It was a good thing they came in when they did, because I was falling asleep. I might have died in there (cause of death: slow-roasting). But they can feel good about saving my life. It was a close thing.

Not much writing, but having fun

Another 0-Word Day
Yep, that's right. I wrote a grand total of 0 words again yesterday. Work has been crazy (so no stealing time there), and well ... I'm not sure what all my excuses are ... but I sure have been busy.
Enough complaining, tonight I will go to the ABC write-in. I WILL WRITE. I WILL WRITE. I WILL WRITE. -

I just wanted to apologize to all my friends for not keeping up with all your LJ entries and (if appropriate) NaNoWriMo progress. When I start slacking, I tend to slack across the board.

Broke 10,000
Well, I had a pretty good day (if a bit long) yesterday. I wrote 2,973 words yesterday and cracked the 10,000 mark. If I can keep that up for every day until the end, I might actually finish this thing. If I keep at the average pace I have been working at however, I will finish December 29th. After a slow start on Saturday, I picked up some speed on today (well, yesterday technically, now that it is 1:00 in the morning). I haven't caught up yet to where I am supposed to be, but I am gaining. Fire up them jet-packs!
