i generally find food posts boring, but in case you are interested, im writing this down so i can remember....

(i may have been inspired by the cumin bread i bought.  its like chili-flavoured toast!)
i made entirely unorthodox vegan chili (mostly making it up as i went along) and it came out way better than i expected.

I am not a huge activist about Bi stuff. i am mildly involved with local groups, mainly because they are full of some really interesting people, and it can be nice to talk about stuff with people who share parts of that experience. i support LGBTQ activism, but rarely take an active role. i like the queer community in toronto, i think it is ( Read more... )

I walked by the damage last night. Covered in a thick layer of ice, with icicles hanging like gingerbread, the dead buildings look haunted already. Even the ice-covered trees looked like sad skeletons pointing to the damage (they are surely dead as well ( Read more... )
