A ridiculous poll of NO CONSEQUENCE, but..

I just was wondering this. I was at Barnes and Noble (my second home) today, and I was in the Romance Novel section, (yes, I read them, sometimes, stop laughing) and I noticed that every single male on the cover of said romance novels had a shaved chest. No chest hair, whatsoever, and I couldn't help thinking...ICK. Now, I have no problem with ( Read more... )

silly poll

When I was younger, I thought I would never date a guy with chest hair. Then I grew up and I'm fine with it now. It doesn't really matter to me whether they have it or not. But I don't want a bear! lol

I will forgive you the 'not bad', as I understand you like the hairless Twilight Boys. Oh, and BTW, less than 2 weeks til Dr. Druggie!!!!!!

(You know I LOVE you to death, Ash!)

I like a little fuzz. Guys with it seem more manly.

Shaving/waxing makes no sense to me. I definitely find some hair attractive. (As miseenplace07 mentioned, it's the manliness factor.)

(Yes, Robin Williams is over the top. I still remember, upon my upteenth viewing of Hook, coming to the realization that they waxed his entire upper body for the slingshot scene. I just about died laughing, I couldn't believe I hadn't realized it before.)

My man doesn't have much hair on his chest, though, so I can't say it's a requirement.

I cast my vote with you on this important issue. I give Mr. Emerson as a fine example.

I was kind of appalled when Matthew Fox showed up with shaved chest. I'm not a Jack fan, but I could appreciate his, er, asthetic qualities. Losing the chest hair was a big mistake. Not to mention, the idea of a guy standing there in the shower shaving around his nipples is just.... ech, I'm not sure I ever want to have sex again.

Yeah...the no chest hair thing doesn't do anything for me. I'm waiting for that trend to die out.
