Thanks SB!! I was so enhartened by these lovely little flowers. I moved the pot to my family room coffee table so I could enjoy it. It is truly a cheerful gift-flower. :)
Sorry for the wrong message (if you got it in your email), don't know how that happened.
But anyway! Yes and thanks, Cel! It was such a thrill to see these little flowers--looking exactly like my icon (that I found on the Internet years ago)--and the first real celandine flower I ever saw. So that was pretty neat.
Thank-you so much, Kris, for taking the time to comment when you must be very busy.
Yes, I am hoping that this job will work out. It is certainly risky but might have a big pay-off, I don't know. But just by the odds, I am due for a good job, hehe.
And yes, I still can't get over the fun of having the flower. If you had seen this forlorn, one-leaf, little plant a few weeks ago, you would never believe it could look so good now--with a whole cluster of bright, yellow flowers. Plants are truly amazing in their ability to rebound (and a lesson for us all, I suppose). :)
I think so too. It was so forlorn a few weeks ago (after bringing it inside) and I truly thought it would die--but then it surprised the life out of me with all this sudden burst of loveliness! Definitely a sign, I think, and a great way to start the New Year.
Happy New Year to you too, m'dear. Am looking forward to reading more of your lovely work.

How wonderful that your namesake flower chose now to bloom. That seems very auspicious indeed!
