Very cute. I love Mac, and I like seeing how much she values Veronica's friendship. Even though a lot of people accuse V of using her friends, I know they're important to her, and she'd do anything for them, so it's just nice to see that reciprocated.

Too cute how she knew it was really veronica texting and not Logan, and I love the last line :D

I think that while Wallace occasionally felt a little used by V (like when he was working in the school office), Mac never seemed to feel that way. I think she found V's escapades exciting (and usually an intellectual challenge). I think people like Mac (and me!) are sometimes drawn to people who are more Type A, because they can drag you along into their crazy adventures when you wouldn't have had the guts to make that leap yourself. :)

I agree--I do think Wallace usually liked going along, and being able to help (especially since he was always the "good kid"--being a little bad was probably fun!). But there were times when he felt a little used, particularly when V wouldn't tell him why she needed his help. But I never got that from Mac--I think she always felt like, "Squee! I get to use my mad computer skillz!" instead.

This is a fun story, I really like the character of Mac, so it was nice to read a story focused on her. Also good to see Sheriff Van Lowe get his comeuppance too. Oh yes and I liked the implied LoVe togetherness. What is it about those two and Summer?

Loved it! Mac is awesome. Loved her taking down Vinnie and Liam. And her knowing about LoVe and laughing at them thinking they were keeping it a secret was funny.

Totally! I wondered if anyone would notice that. :) Also, it's not a coincidence that KNPT reporter Nancy Sweeney shares a last name with Nish Sweeney, pit-bull student reporter. I put in things like that for myself, because I'm that much of a dork.
