So, I've clocked in about 15,000 words for my Merlin Big Bang story so far. Only about 7,000 of them are in readable form and it took me two grueling weeks to smooth out the first 2,000 word scene. I've been wracking my brain-and dictionary.com-all day to find just the perfect word. Do you know a word, term, or phrase that meets this description?- It's an insult.
- It would have been in the common vernacular 500 years ago (or isn't something obviously circa 2010).
- The word isn't commonly used by the wealthy.
