I can understand the anime!Winry hate, but the manga!Winry hate is just... no, I don't get it. I couldn't think of a better, cooler, sexier partner for Ed. (I could write a much longer post on that, but I think I made my point xD)

Honestly, I don't mind EdWin bashing. I'm not sure why, but I simply don't care. It may be because I know it's canon and whenever someone rants about it I go, "Well, that sucks for you." xD

The chest thing is so stupid. People are just using that as a chance to bash her.

And I'll be completely honest with Mei: I don't like her. Wanna know why? Because she was mean to Ed. Hah xD That's seriously my only reason. It's not even a good reason. But oh well. *shrug*

I--I love you. SO MUCH. YES. I thought Mei was awesome pretty much from the very beginning, and I always adored Winry. And this is just a perfect, eloquent explanation of just why it's so silly for people to attack them. I mean, I stay away from fandom and never go near it confining myself to communities and my writing journal and friends, but crap like this still leaks down and it's disgusting.

....nothing else relevant to say. Except that icon is unbearably gorgeous, may I get my sticky fingers on it?

First off, you win for the "No Rest for The Wicked" icon.

I know, for the first two years I managed to stay away from it all, but then a comment in my pic by some disillusioned EdWinry-hating EdRose fanatic kinda got me in it o.x;... urrgh. It buuurns. I like to stay away.

lol. I'm apathetic towards the characters, borderlining dislike almost. It's only simply because they don't interest me in the least, and it's got nothing to do with my pairing preference (Elricest fan, here). I actually like anime!Winry, but Mei just doesn't do it for me.

But the reasons they get bashed rabidly are pretty damn stupid.
