Foot Update
Went to the doctor yesterday for my two week post-op checkup. Doctor is very pleased! Very little swelling due to keeping it elevated above my heart. He said I don't need to keep it elevated that high anymore (so I can sit up instead of laying down!) but he still wants me home for another non weight-bearing week. If it's down it will swell. So I had my surgery on Monday. Tendon was frayed not torn so I'm hoping that means a shorter and easier recovery. I'll know more when I see the surgeon on Monday ( Read more... ) -

We're in Final Prep Mode...
Our Mediterranean cruise is finally here! After 18 months of planning, we leave for Barcelona on Thursday. Spending 2 days there then boarding Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas for a week's cruise to France and Italy. We are SO excited! Blah Day
Home today feeling crappy. Had my annual CT scan this morning which always leaves me feeling queasy from the shit I have to drink. This year I had slightly less disgusting prep to drink but still leaves me feeling lousy for most of the day.
oh well, at least it's only once a year. -
