I'm relatively new to UU, and I just found out that our congregation is have a flower service later this month. I've heard it mentioned a bit before, so it seems to be kind of a bit of a big deal. I went to a Jewish wedding over the long weekend.  Never been to one before, it was nice.  Quick.  But as I was sitting there I suddenly realized that I had never been to a UU wedding in the 6 years I have been a UU.

So what are they like?  Or should I ask, what flavors do they usually come in?

I'm fairly new to UU, and I'm curious about something. Did liberation theology ever play a part in the UU organization's history? I love the idea of religion being used to help the less fortunate rise to fight oppression, and it would be neat to get information on this.

Would anyone know where I could get a rubber stamp with the chalice on it?

I'd like to make my daughter's dedication invitations, and I've been googling like crazy and can't find anything.

I'm leaving in a couple of months to spend six months in Cambodia.  UUA's website doesn't list any emerging or current congregations there, but I thought it was possible there was some sort of ad hoc group made up of UUs or even one that UUs just participated in.  I also wondered if there was there might be temples or volunteer projects that UUs ( Read more... )
