Is Oddness
I see a lot of women putting on makeup on the train in the morning. Men putting on their neck ties. The train ride is a good way to make up time in the morning. It seems normal. What didn't seem normal was today when I saw a woman on BART with her hair in rollers. What seemed even more strange was that it was 5:00pm.

Things are going really great at work. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting into the groove of things there. For the first couple weeks I just did whatever work was handed to me. First Week of Work
My first week of work was so awesome. I love this company. I love this job. When I first showed up on Tuesday the receptionist in the lobby asked my name. When I told her my first name she said "Oh you're the new hire! We're so happy to have you joining us." Five or six years ago I was at Half Price Books and I picked up a book called Everyday Magic. I think I read through it a little bit at the time, but has mostly just sat on my shelf. My job update.
I had my first second interview today. It was with a company called Triton Container in San Francisco. It had two parts. One went really well. One went not so well. The part that went well was the face to face interview with the accounting manager. He seemed impressed with my resume. He liked what I had to say. Today I took Lucy on a walk to the top of Mt. Wanda. I took my camera along. I don't know what I was thinking. Normally the view up there is really beautiful. But not today. Reading too many pirate books
Last night I dreamed about smuggling motorcycles in the hold of a pirate ship on its way from China to Russia. I was supposed to deliver them to Russian Admiral Zergeyev in exchange for silver bullion and an opium contract.
